The Paris Design Week is set in motion across the capital, from September 10 to 19, 2026. In the gardens of the National Archives, on the Soubise side, the French garden takes a few liberties. After “577 chairs: the citizen’s hemicycle,” Johanna de Clisson enters the sightlines with “Sculpture/Landscape: New Figures of the French Garden,” a installation comprising about ten white sandstone jardinière-sculptures. Geometry, symmetry, and the staging of plant life: the designer redraws the garden’s classic codes, making her shapes dialogue with the columns, the boxwoods, and the architecture of the Hôtel de Soubise.
