Pierre Hermé and 25 renowned pastry chefs are joining forces for a unique charity auction at Artcurial in Paris on December 1, 2025. The proceeds will be donated to the BAB Charity association for hospitalized children.

For the first time, French haute pâtisserie is coming to Artcurial with a charity auction inParis's 8th arrondissement. On December 1, Pierre Hermé and some twenty of the most talented pastry chefs will come together for an essential cause: to support children with leukemia hospitalized at the Armand Trousseau Hospital. This first event brings together Cédric Grolet, Cyril Lignac, Nina Métayer, and many other prestigious names in pastry.

The initiative celebrates the excellence and creativity of the profession while paying tribute to childhood and its capacity for dreaming. Organized in partnership with Artcurial, this unique sale offers exceptional creations and unique gourmet experiences. All proceeds will be donated to the BAB Charity, founded by Alexandre Bader, which has been working since 2008 to improve hospital conditions for young patients.

The association has already invested more than €2 million in the creation and renovation of sterile rooms at Trousseau Hospital, including reception areas for families. This new fundraising campaign will finance the renovation of the third floor of the department, with work scheduled for 2026. It's a wonderful way to combine gastronomy and solidarity to provide a more comfortable environment for children and their loved ones during treatment.

Among the lots up for auction are spectacular creations by some of the biggest names in the business. Pierre Herméoffers "Be Different," a monumental composition born from his collaboration with Patrick Rougereau, comprising 495 chocolate eggs and a crystal egg by Daum. The lot also includes a unique experience: the creation of a custom macaron alongside the chef. Starting bid: €10,000.

Cédric Grolet, pastry chef at Le Meurice, is offering a photograph from his collection with Patrick Rougereau (187 x 127 cm) along with tea time for two at his Parisian establishment. Cyril Lignac is offering a pyramid of 85 marshmallow bears from La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac and an exclusive visit to the set of Le Meilleur Pâtissier. Both lots start at €4,000.

Nina Métayer is offering a complete gourmet experience for four people in Issy-les-Moulineaux: a pastry workshop, a tour of the Laboratoire de la Délicatisserie, and a tasting. Starting bid: €2,000. Each lot represents a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of haute patisserie and share a special moment with these artists of sugar.

"Through this first charity auction of French haute pâtisserie, we are mobilizing the talents of our profession around a major cause, with high standards, creativity, and kindness. This initiative is a tribute to those who, from a very young age, have been fascinated by our art," explains Pierre Hermé. Arnaud Oliveux, auctioneer at Artcurial, is also delighted with this unique collaboration, which reflects the innovative spirit of the company.

The public exhibition of the lots will be held from November 27 to December 1 at Artcurial, 7 Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées Marcel-Dassault. Visitors will be able to admire these exceptional pastry creations before the sale, which will begin at 8 p.m. on December 1. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover these edible works of art and contribute to a cause that touches the hearts of many Parisian families.

In short, if you're looking for an original outing that combines gastronomy, art, and generosity, this charity auction is the event not to be missed in early December. Come discover these creations before they find a buyer, while participating in a project that makes a real difference in the lives of hospitalized children and their families.
