Grand Paris: The city's top pastry shop of 2026 is located in the 13th arrondissement

This year's event drew a large number of participants once again. Ultimately, out of 86 professionals registered, only one emerged as the champion of the 17th edition of the Grand Paris Pastry Trophy. This year, competitors presented their creations on February 10 at the headquarters of the Syndicate of Bakeries of Greater Paris, allowing the jury to sample their pastries and select the winner.

In a bid to claim the top spot, pastry chefs from Paris’s Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, and Val-de-Marne were tasked with presenting a set of 8 individual-sized pastries, including 4 chocolate éclairs and 4 non-meringued lemon tarts. Judged on several criteria—including presentation, cream quality, baking, and flavor harmony—the competition’s verdict was announced on Friday, February 13, 2026. So, what’s the final tally this year? After deliberation, Cédric Arsac from the Lorette Bakery, located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, took top honors, securing the first place on the podium.

Chef and skilled artisan, Youssef Afantrous is followed closely by Paris and Co Bakery in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. Meanwhile, Frédéric Antunes from Les Délices de Fred, located in Le Perreux-sur-Marne in Val-de-Marne, rounds out the top three in this regional ranking.
