Each year, there are plenty of competitions in Île-de-France that honor the region’s best bakers and pastry chefs, whether in the Yvelines, the Essonne, the Seine-et-Marne and the Val-d'Oise.
This spring, the Grand Paris Bakers’ Syndicate also unveiled the 2026 ranking for the best traditional French baguette in Seine-Saint-Denis. Held in March, the competition drew many entrants. But only one managed to clinch the top prize for the best traditional baguette in the 93. It is La Rose de Villemomble in . It wins the contest in the business owners category. A prestigious honor for its owner El Mustapha Bouhda.
La Maison Mouly in Gagny and Fournée Normande in Livry-Gargan rise to the second and third spots on the podium, in the same category.
In the "employees" category, Abdelaziz Ben Addi from Tangarfa bakery in Bondy takes the top spot, followed by Hassan Elfahim, who works at Maison Mouly in Gagny.
Finally, Théo Martinez of the Maison Sohier finishes first in the standings in the category "apprentices".
For all food lovers, the results of the 2026 edition of the trophy for the best traditional French baguette in Seine-Saint-Denis are unveiled.
