A new immersive photography venue is set to open soon at Boom Boom Villette! Starting in April 2026, the Food & Leisure Court, located near the Cité des Sciences in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, will host Koneo Studio. This innovative concept combines a Korean photobooth, selfie studio, and professional photo shoots. Created by Bruno Faure and Vincent Grandgenevre, the 220-square-meter space offers a photography experience inspired by Asian trends, with themed booths and immersive backgrounds designed to produce unique, shareable images perfect for social media. An exciting new spot that’s sure to appeal to fans of Korean photobooths and trendy photo spots in Paris!
Koneo Studio— what exactly is it? The concept centers around several dedicated spaces designed to encourage visitors to strike multiple poses and capture a variety of shots. The Korean photobooth, already a hit among photography enthusiasts in Paris, is naturally part of the experience: these booths from Asia let you take fun photos with props and themed backgrounds, often with a playful and quirky vibe. With Koneo Studio, Boom Boom Villette is now embracing this trend imported from Asia, which is winning over an increasing number of social media users and photography fans.
Another featured area is a selfie studio, where visitors can strike poses in immersive setups designed to produce striking and unique photos. Perfect for capturing moments that won’t go unnoticed on Instagram or TikTok. There will also be a professional photo studio available for those looking to have a more traditional portrait taken in a studio setting.
But Koneo Studio is more than just a few photo booths. The space is designed as an immersive, scenographic experience, with each set encouraging visitors to explore a variety of visual styles. From the moment you step inside, you'll encounter a recreated Korean night street scene, complete with several photo booths ready to capture your moments.
These photo booths stand out thanks to their diverse visual themes: some feature a mirrored, disco-ball effect, while others create vibrant neon and metallic atmospheres. Still, others offer iridescent, pop-inspired, or hammered gold backdrops. The goal is to offer a variety of ambiances, allowing visitors to experiment with different photographic styles along the way.
Beyond the fitting rooms, the studio is set to feature around fifteen immersive sets that allow visitors to seamlessly jump from one environment to another with just a few steps. Music studio, Korean grocery store, space shuttle, and giant claw machine—each scene transforms into a playful visual world where everyone can unleash their creativity.
And if you're interested in photoshoots for weddings or other special events, as well as professional filming projects, that's also an option (price upon request).
With this new immersive photo studio, Boom Boom Villette is set to enrich its already diverse lineup of activities.
