Ralph Lauren Saint‑Germain, a 17th‑century townhouse converted into a boutique with a restaurant

The building instantly sets the mood. Its classic limestone facade keeps its sculptures, its ornaments, its wrought-iron balconies, and its zinc-and-slate roof. Inside, several rooms have rekindled their French Rococo spirit, with the help of historic consultants: Versailles-style parquet, plaster moldings and sculptures mingle with weathered white oak wainscoting and stone floors. One foot in Saint-Germain, the other in the house’s imagined America.

On the wardrobe side, the shop carries a notably broad selection: Polo Ralph Lauren, Purple Label, Collection and RRL, for men, women and children, as well as jewelry and watches. Alterations, bespoke, made-to-order and personalized appointments round out the service.
