Thirty years, thirty designers, one bag: Sessùn marks its anniversary at Galerie Joseph with a free exhibition centered on its flagship accessory, complemented by a pop-up café, workshops, and demonstrations of craftsmanship, from September 11 to 18, 2026, during Paris Design Week.

From September 10 to 19, 2026, the Paris Design Week is scattering design across the capital. A courtyard, a museum, a gallery, a workshop, sometimes a townhouse: each venue becomes a cue to see objects, materials, and know-how in a different light. This year, Sessùn seizes the moment to mark its 30 years with a multi-part project, the main highlight running from September 11 to 18, 2026 at the Galerie Joseph, at 7 rue Froissart in the 3rd arrondissement. A free exhibition imagined as an immersive dive into the brand's creative universe, punctuated by collaborations and new interpretations.

At the heart of the journey, its iconic Divine bag passes into the hands of an international community of artists and creators. Thirty reinterpretations are gathered, including those by Alba Galocha, Arthur Ristor, Astérisque, Audrey Guimard, Elsa Noyons, Lisa Allegra, Marion Flament, and Simone Loo, to which are added the creations of the 20 finalists of the Sessùn Craft Prize – Prix de la Floraison Créative 2026. Wood, ceramic, glass, textile, beads or weaving: each takes the same volume to transform it into a different material, use, and sometimes an entirely new look.

The exhibition’s staging was entrusted to Marion Mailaender, in collaboration with Jeanne Tresvaux du Fraval. La Galerie Joseph also hosts a selection of objects designed especially for Sessùn’s 30th anniversary, a commemorative publication conceived as an alphabet book with Emmanuelle Oddo, as well as a pop-up café by Léonie.

The program continues with a series of workshops and demonstrations around these crafts: wooden jewelry, textile weaving, wool work, paper flowers and ceramics. Meanwhile, several Sessùn boutiques in Paris are joining the official Paris Design Week lineup with their own installations and collaborations.
