Bulles de nature: the free festival of ecological comics at the Jardin de Valérien, Nanterre

Reading in nature- what a relaxing activity! Bulles de nature invites you to discover a wide range of comics on the theme of the environment and ecology at the fourth edition of the ecological comics festival, on June 15, 2025, at the Jardin de Valérien.

Since last year, this garden, located in Nanterre, has offered a welcoming green space in the heart of the city, thanks to numerous fun and educational activities all year round, for young and old alike. This free literary festival is part of this continuity, with perfect spaces to discuss ecology and resource protection through reading, in partnership with the specialist store"La BD s'expose".

The program includes activities and workshops (Draw your animal, make your own natural paint...) open to all with registration, including a meeting with Miss Prickly, illustrator of "Mortelle Adèle" and "Animal Jack".

• Meetings with the 7 comic book authors who will be presenting their latest titles to the public: Miss Prickly, MoPi, Pierre Uong, Arnaud Boutle, Gijé, Alain Sirvent, and Alicia Grande.
• A temporary bookshop selling new and used comics, run by "la BD s'expose".
• A book and comic strip donation and barter area around the book boxes
• Nature activities in the Jardin de Sénéo as part of free-access workshops
• An exhibition on Animal Jack by Miss Prickly
• The prize-giving ceremony for the "Dans ma Bulle de Nature" comic strip competition for children, followed by the presentation of the "Bulles de Nature 2025" prize and the "Prix Coup de Coeur 2025".
• Plus the Wheel of Fortune, water bar and gourmet stand.

These authors will be presenting their works in small groups, aimed in particular at children, to raise their awareness of environmental protection from an early age, in an appropriate setting. A few second-hand comics will delight bargain hunters, who come to add to their collection or simply stroll through the garden and admire its biodiversity!
