The Salon du Manga d'Épinay-sur-Seine is back for a third edition, this Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the heart of theEspace Lumière. All day long, fans of this literary genre will be able to enjoy meetings and signings with illustrators and mangakas, as well as take part in a variety of events revolving around Japanese culture - and all free of charge!

Numerous professionals will be on hand to share their passion and expertise, so you'll be able to grasp the particularities of manga in all its forms. Manga artists Loui, Jenny, Tibo and Mede will be signing their works and answering all your questions about the creation and imagination of their mangas, while illustrator Mister Mango will be immersing you in his colorful world. There will also be art workshops for budding artists, as well as origami, shiori (bookmarks) and the ancestral art of Kazamidori (Japanese paper weathervanes).
Brigitte Lecordier, Éric Legrand, Martin Faliu and Julien Chatelet, famous dubbing actors, will be on hand, offering demonstrations of anime dubbing! Conferences are planned on a variety of subjects, from the place of women in the Ghibli universe to manga as a learning tool, while an exhibition will be retracing the story of French Olympic fencing champion Enzo Lefort, in the universe of a manga dedicated to the sport.
No manga without cosplay, with a big parade planned on the main stage, in which you can take part with your best costume. There's plenty of entertainment on the program, including arcade terminals, an immersive experience, and stands serving gyoza, tonkatsu, melon pan and milk tea, where you can eat and taste Japanese specialities!
