The Salon de l'Escalade has been held for several years now, but for the last two editions, it's off to Paris and the Porte de Versailles, on January 10 and 11, 2026. Indoor, outdoor, route, bouldering, solo, roped, in the mountains, in the city, on natural or artificial sites, there are so many ways to practice climbing, a fast-growing sport that is increasingly popular with all generations. For two days, whether you're a beginner or an expert climber, take advantage of numerous events, round tables and conferences on site.
Climbing in all its verticality will be presented to the whole family, through books, challenges, animations, films, conferences, artistic performances and debates, as well as athletes you can meet or stands to discover the products of the milieu and the latest innovations, after the Paris Olympic Games which put the discipline back in the spotlight.
It's also an opportunity to try out your climbing skills on the many ephemeral walls where you can learn, test out equipment, watch demonstrations or take part in competitions to join the ranks of climbing enthusiasts, in a region that boasts the largest number of climbers in France, with almost 150 clubs and over forty private gyms, and the Fontainebleau forest of course.
