Japan Mania 2025: the show dedicated to Japanese culture in Val-d'Oise

This autumn, a commune in the Val-d'Oise is offering you the chance to discover Japan without leaving the Paris region. For this experience, head to Japan Mania on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, 2025! This year, the event celebrates its 9th edition, and returns for the occasion to the Salle des fêtes de Montmagny, located not far from Épinay-sur-Seine, Groslay and Sarcelles.

For two days, October 11 and 12, 2025, Montmagny will be putting Japanese culture in the spotlight with this fair, open free of charge from 11am to 6pm. As in previous editions, visitors will be able to discover a host ofevents, demonstrations andworkshops open to the whole family.

Young and old alike will be able to enjoy cooking workshops (registration required), as well as manga and kitsune masks (registration also required). Kendo demonstrations, an exhibition of dioramas and figurine painting, and a conference on manga are also scheduled. And don't miss the make-up area, SOS cosplay stand, blind test, karaoke and cosplay parade at the Salle des fêtes in Montmagny on October 11 and 12.

For guaranteed immersion, Japan Mania also offers the chance to experience virtual reality and have your photo taken with Mario & Luigi"who will be making occasional appearances", says the Ville de Montmagny. And to tantalize your palate, a foodtruck will be stationed on site, with a selection of Japanese dishes on the menu.
