Salon du Cheval de Paris 2025: date and program

The Salon du Cheval de Paris returns to Porte de Versailles from December 12 to 14, 2025. This flagship event celebrates the horse in all its forms, appealing to enthusiasts and the curious alike. A rich program of events, competitions and workshops promises total immersion in the equestrian universe.

After the success of the 2024 edition, which marked the Parisian public's reunion with this emblematic event, this new edition promises to go even further with the much-anticipated return of international show jumping competitions.

Created in 1972, the Salon du Cheval de Paris is France's largest equestrian event. This 53rd edition takes place in Halls 4 and 6 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, offering a prestigious setting for celebrating the equestrian art in all its forms. Every year, the event brings together all the key players in the equestrian world: breeders, equipment dealers from many countries, riding schools, stud farms, training organizations, as well as emblematic institutions such as the Garde républicaine and the Haras nationaux.

This year's show marks the return of international jumping, with CSI 3* and CSI 1* events, whose courses will be designed by French ringmaster Yann Royant. The highlight of these competitions will be the CSI 3* Grand Prix, worth over 65,000 euros, which will take place on Sunday afternoon. It's a unique opportunity to watch the best French and international riders compete on a vastly enlarged track, accessible with just a ticket to the show.

What's on the program?

The Salon du Cheval 2025 offers a program rich in emotion, with two exceptional evenings. The traditional Nuit du Cheval will take place on Friday evening from 9pm to 11pm, showcasing the equestrian art form in all its splendour. New for 2025, the Nuit du Complet by Forestier will take place on Saturday evening, followed by an after-party lasting until 2am. The evening will feature eventing, an Olympic discipline combining dressage, show jumping and cross-country.

Visitors will be able to discover all equestrian disciplines: dressage, eventing, western activities and ethological approaches. Demonstrations, lectures and masterclasses complete the varied program, designed to satisfy both seasoned enthusiasts and curious neophytes. A village specially designed for children will introduce them to the joys of riding, with pony christenings, grooming sessions and fun activities.

How to get to the Salon du Cheval

The Parc des Expositions Porte de Versailles enjoys excellent public transport links. The Porte de Versailles station on metro line 12 provides the most direct access, with exit 1 leading directly to the exhibition halls. Streetcars T2 and T3a also serve the Porte de Versailles - Parc des Expositions stop.

For visitors arriving by car, several parking lots are available nearby: parking lot 1 located at 2 rue d'Oradour-sur-Glane and parking lot 6 place des Insurgés de Varsovie, both in the 15th arrondissement. VIP access is via avenue de la Porte de la Plaine.

What are the times and prices?

The show opens on Friday December 12 at 9am until 9pm, then on Saturday from 9am to 9pm and on Sunday from 9am to 6pm. Ticketing is already open on the show's official website. Detailed prices will be announced shortly, but access to the grandstands for CSI competitions is included in the admission ticket, at no extra cost.

This 2025 edition is also committed to solidarity by supporting the Trott'Autrement association, which works to integrate people with disabilities through adapted equestrian activities. When purchasing their ticket, visitors will be able to round off their payment to support this wonderful initiative.

Over 160 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest innovations in equestrian equipment, horse health and industry services. The eagerly-awaited Innovation Trophies return in partnership with Pôle Hippolia and Cheval Magazine, rewarding the most remarkable advances in the equestrian world.
