We have a winner! Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jannik Sinner in the final match of Roland-Garros 2025 in five sets, at the end of an interminable match. The Spaniard wins his second Grand Slam title in a row!

What a spectacle we witnessed on Sunday! Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner faced off on the Roland-Garros court in the final of the legendary clay-court tennis tournament. The two top sportsmen battled relentlessly in the capital on June 8, 2025. Like last year, Carlos Alcaraz outlasted his opponent in five grueling sets, in a breathtaking match lasting almost 5h30- not far off the record for the longest match!

It's the second time the Spanish player has won the French Open, and in a row at that! To the standing ovations of the 16th arrondissement crowd, Alcaraz lost the first two sets, but didn't collapse and staged a fine comeback to become one of the future legends of tennis, as the absence of Nadal and Djokovic from the final makes itself felt. A well-deserved victory for the 22-year-old, who lifts the Coupe des Mousquetaires once again, for what could be a long series to come!

The 2025 edition of the French Open comes to an end on Sunday, June 8, 2025!
