Are you ready to follow the yellow ball on the clay court of Roland-Garros? The competition is back at the end of May, and the French players who do not need to go through the qualifications are already known. Let's take stock!

The French Open is back again ! Heading to Porte d'Auteuil, from May 19 to June 8, 2025, to watch the world's best tennis players compete on clay. While most of them will have to make it through the qualifying phase, some have already secured their ticket for the final draw, and won't need to go through the stress of the first matches.

15 French men and 8 French women are among the lucky few, and we hope they're still with us at the end of the 3rd round! But why have they already qualified? Seeds are determined for each men's and women's draw, based on world rankings (ATP and WTA).

So, which French champions are we sure to see again this year? On the men's side, Arthur Fils, Ugo Humbert, Alexandre Müller, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Quentin Halys, Benjamin Bonzi, Hugo Gaston, Gaël Monfils, Arthur Rinderknech and Corentin Moutet will be in attendance. Arthur Cazaux, Valentin Royer, Terence Atmane, Pierre-Hugues Herber and Richard Gasquet join them by wild-card.

On the women's side, things are better than last year, with eight players already qualified: Caroline Garcia, Varvara Gracheva, Loïs Boisson, Elsa Jacquemot, Léolia Jeanjean, Chloé Paquet, Diane Parry and Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga Rajaonah.

Other French players are expected to join this group of 23 athletes, if they make it all the way through the qualifiers. Answer at the end of May!
