Festi'Run is a new sports and solidarity event, which seeks to promote sport for all, through three races accessible to all and a village of fun animations around disability in particular. This June 9, 2024, just before the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, the APF France handicap association invites you to get your shirt wet, right next to the Château de Vincennes!
On the program, three races for all budding sportsmen and women, to walk or run, two of which are open to children! You can opt for 3 or 5 kilometers as a family, or 10 kilometers for those aged 16 and over. While registration costs between 10 and 15 euros, adults must also raise funds individually or as a team, with a target of 200 euros per participant, to validate their registration. Naturally, 100% of the funds raised will be donated to the association.
There will also be an on-site village offering introductory courses in sports and parasports, as well as fun workshops to raise awareness of disability. Try your hand at wheelchair basketball, cecifoot, paratennis or handbike, or even learn to sign your first name! Yannick Noah, coach of the men's Paralympic tennis team for the Paralympic Games, and Marie-Amélie Le Fur, President of the French Paralympic and Sports Committee, will be present at the event, as will the Games mascots!
