On January 9 and 11, 2026, the Paris La Défense Arena will be hosting a major handball event for the very first time: the Tournoi de France. A high-level friendly competition with Austria, Iceland and Slovenia, where the French men's handball team, led by Guillaume Gille, will be preparing for the 2026 European Championship in Norway a few days later.
European champions in 2024, bronze medallists at the 2025 World Cup, Les Bleus are in top form, giving fans the chance to thrill to the players and admire a concentration of the best talents in French and international sport. But it's not all about sport, either: on Friday January 9, after the first match, an exceptional concert awaits you, while on Sunday 11, a Hall of Fame induction ceremony will bring the tournament to a close, with former champions and legends of the French handball teams receiving moving tributes.
