Attention all running enthusiasts: registrations for the iconic Paris Marathon 2027 and the Half Marathon are officially open! How the lottery works, the calendar, and group tips: discover the practical guide to snag your bib.

Every spring, the capital’s main avenues and its woodland trails turn into a vast playground for tens of thousands of runners from Île-de-France and from around the world. For the 2027 edition, the ASICS Paris Marathon and the HOKA Paris Half Marathon are adopting a lottery system to allocate public bibs. Note: the two races use separate registration platforms. So, how does it work?

Step 1: Head to the platform for your race

Registration for the lottery is open from September 8 to September 30, 2026. The day and time you submit your application do not affect your chances of being selected. For the half marathon, the official form specifies a deadline of September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., French time.

  • For the ASICS Marathon de Paris, on 4 April 2027: head to la page officielle d'inscription au marathon, then click on « Je m'inscris au tirage au sort ».
  • For the HOKA Semi de Paris, on 7 March 2027: head to la plateforme officielle d'inscription au semi-marathon. Choose “S'inscrire” for an individual entry or “S'inscrire à plusieurs” for a team entry.
  • Participation in the lottery is completely free: no payment is required at this stage. You’ll pay for your bib only if you’re selected and confirm your registration.
  • Fill in the requested information on the form. A single application per person is allowed for each event.

Step 2: Apply as an individual or as a group — which option is right for you?

For each of the two races, you can register individually or opt for team registration for 2 to 6 people, with the “Team Spirit” option.

  • If one member of the team is drawn, all members are automatically selected. Each person must then complete their registration according to the procedures announced by the organizers.
  • This collective application relates only to eligibility to register: participants are under no obligation to run together or at the same pace on race day.

Step 3: Track the draw results and confirm your race bib

The results will be announced from October 1, 2026, by email. Be sure to check your spam folder.

  • If you are selected, you will have 72 hours from the time the results are released to complete your registration and pay for your bib. After this window, your eligibility will be offered to another runner.
  • If you are not selected, you will automatically remain in contention for any subsequent draws until all bibs are allocated.
  • The public price is set at €169 for the marathon, on April 4, 2027, and €79 for the half-marathon, on March 7, 2027. A 5% discount is available to holders of an FFA license, subject to the organizer's conditions.

Key info for eligible profiles: Dossards Passerelle are offered at €50 for the marathon and €25 for the half. This program is accessible, with proof, to beneficiaries of the RSA or AAH, to socioeconomically eligible scholarship students and to job seekers. You must select the corresponding option during the application and submit the requested proof. After validation, applicants participate in the dedicated draw, subject to bib availability. See the terms on the official pages of the Dossards Passerelle du marathon and the Dossards Passerelle du semi-marathon.
