Will Denmark finally fall and give up its place at the top of the podium? Will France reclaim its title as world champions? Find out in Paris in 2029, when the men’s handball world championship semifinals and final take place.
The French capital is indeed co-hosting the international sporting competition with Germany. On November 5, 2026, the two countries unveiled the cities where the matches will be held. In Germany, teams will face off in Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg. In France, Lyon, Strasbourg and Paris have been selected. The French capital will host, in particular, the championship semi-finals and final.
At the moment, not much is known about how the competition will be organized. Dates, match schedule, qualified teams: it will be a little while before this information is available. Questions have also been raised about the venues. Will the final be held at the Accor Arena or at the Défense Arena? How much will tickets cost?
In the coming months, details of the competition’s organization are expected to become clearer, allowing fans of the sport to plan their trip. One thing is certain: we hope to see the French team shine at this world championship!
