Did you know that? The André Citroën park does not have a farm with animals, or a stable with ponies, but another type of animal, slightly smaller: bees. And yes, there are beehives in this green place and we propose you a visit this Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Bees in Paris? Yes, even if it seems unlikely, many green spaces have beehives on their territory, like the Petite ceinture in the13th district for example! The André Citroën park also has some, and you have the opportunity to discover them this Sunday, May 14th at 2:30 pm, with a visit followed by a honey sale.

All afternoon, you will learn how apiaries work, how bee colonies are organized and especially how honey is produced. Then, it's time for a tasting! It's time to taste the honey of the André Citroën park and, if you feel like it, to take one (or several) pots home. To do so, meet this Sunday from 2:30 pm, on the central lawn, at the level of the Seine, with the volunteers of theBeeApiParis association, which takes care of the park's beehives every day.

Take the opportunity to come in the morning, take your picnic and balloons to spend the day in the open air in one of the most beautiful parks of the 15th arrondissement, with gardens from all over the world. With its famous balloon (in which you can climb!), it is one of the great green spaces where to go with the children: toilets, water points, fit park and food area are also on the spot. So, let's go and discover the apiaries of the André Citroën park, this Sunday, May 14, 2023?
