The Musée d'Orsay offers a most singular musical experience, part-concert, part-reading, around Isadora Duncan, pioneer of modern dance and music lover, on February 10, 2018. A concert conceived by Ensemble Calliopée, with a reading by Clotilde Courau.

When music serves the arts... A priesthood for theEnsemble Calliopée, a " chamber music ensemble with variable geometry ", which is offering a concert on February 10, 2018, halfway between music, dance and reading in theauditorium of the Musée d'Orsay. An artistic moment under the direction of Karine Lethiec, entitled Isadora Duncan: Quand la musique se fait danse, around the dancer and her relationship to her art and to music, with actress Clotilde Courau for a reading.

An artist's life evoked during this concert in the form of a themed diary, and a reading illustrated by a video creation by Christian Boustani, based on photographs and other drawings of the dancer by Antoine Bourdelle, José Clara and Jules Grandjouan, as well as musical compositions that the artist was particularly fond of: Chopin, Scriabine, Beethoven, Wagner, Debussy, Fauré... All composers featured here by Ensemble Calliopée (in piano quintet formation) to accompany the whole.

A musical experience for all ages (13 and up), lasting 1h30, which links up with the Degas Danse Dessin exhibition, based on Paul Valéry's book of the same name and the friendship between the writer and the painter.
