The Jazz à Vienne festival announces its return to Isère with a new and 43rd edition to be discovered from June 27 to July 12, 2024, with an additional and special evening on July 16. On the program? Ibrahim Maalouf, Asaf Avidan, Diana Krall, Hania Rani, Youn Sun Nah, Jeanne Added, Popa Chubby, Caravan Palace, Rhoda Scott, Yuri Buenaventura, Vulfpeck, Yamê, Stacey Kent and GoGo Penguin.

Known the world over, the Jazz à Vienne Festival is a not-to-be-missed institution for all music lovers. Every summer, this Isère-based event draws crowds with its eclectic program, combining jazz, blues and other musical sounds.

Over the years, the Jazz à Vienne Festival has expanded its audience and reputation. It has grown from small local concerts to renowned international acts. In 1991, the legendary Ray Charles enchanted audiences with his unique voice. Since then, many other world-renowned artists have graced the festival stages, including Sting, James Brown and Diana Krall.

The festival is not only a venue for big names, it also encourages emerging and local artists, creating a diverse musical experience for all festival-goers.

More than 40 years after its creation in 1981 by Jean-Paul Boutellier, the Festival Jazz à Vienne continues to amaze audiences with its eclectic, high-quality program. Artists such as Herbie Hancock, Jamie Cullum, Norah Jones and Thomas de Pourquery have recently set the festival's summer evenings alight. Fans of jazz, blues and world music will be delighted.

In 2024, Jazz à Vienne returns from June 27 to July 12 with a host of great musical evenings to be discovered in the majestic setting of Vienne's Théâtre Antique. The icing on the cake is an extra special evening on July 16. On the program? Concerts by trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf, soloistAsaf Avidan, French band Caravan Palace, American jazz singer Rhoda Scott, Colombian salsa singer Yuri Buenaventura and American funk band Vulfpeck.

Also announced are Canadian pianist and singer Diana Krall, the talented Polish artist Hania Rani, South Korea's Youn Sun Nah, not forgetting Jeanne Added, guitarist Popa Chubby, Yamê, Stacey Kent and GoGo Penguin. A total of 190 concerts (three quarters of which are free) are scheduled for this summer in Vienne, Isère, featuring 1,000 artists in 33 different venues over 16 days and nights!
