It's a musical and charitable event not to be missed! This week saw the second edition of the"Le Gala des Pièces jaunes" concert held in Paris. Conceived by France Télévisions, in association with Électron Libre Productions and the Fondation des Hôpitaux, on the occasion of the now-famous Pièces jaunes operation, this concert was to be experienced in the flesh at theAccor Arena in Paris on Friday, January 26, 2024. Good news for those who couldn't make it, as the evening was filmed. The event will be broadcast on France 2 in prime time on Saturday January 27 at 8.40pm.
To mark the occasion, the Pièces jaunes Gala once again invited a host of talented national and international artists. This year, viewers will be treated to a live performance by Maroon 5, the famous American band led by Adam Levine, who invaded the Paris La Défense Arena last summer.
Other prestigious performers include Colombian singer and rapper J Balvin, the ever-popular Pharrell Williams, South Korean K-pop group Stray Kids, BLACKPINK singer Lisa, not forgetting Gims, soon to appear at Paris La Défense Arena, and musician Gautier Capuçon.
A$AP Rocky, Khatia Buniatishvili and Nadine Sierra are also announced, as are Zazie, Vianney, Phoenix, Ibrahim Maalouf and Kendji Girac! For the occasion, all these artists are accompanied by the gala orchestra conducted by Adrien Perruchon and Maxime Pascal.
Last year, the event welcomed Pharrell Williams, Gautier Capuçon and Gims, as well as Mika, Angèle, BLACKPINK, Kid Cudi, Vianney and Mentissa. The first edition of this concert event, " Le Gala des Pièces jaunes ", attracted 7.3 million French TV viewers!

The pièces jaunes operation was launched in 1989 to raise money for the Fondation des Hôpitaux. Thanks to these donations, the operation has been able to support over 9,700 projects in public and private not-for-profit paediatric health establishments. This year, the operation celebrates its 35th anniversary!
