Paris: the Bal de l'Amour takes over the Place de la Bastille, the program

Celebrating 10 years of marriage for all! And that's exactly what the City of Paris did in 2023 by organizing a grand 'Bal de l'Amour' on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville. Following its success, this'Bal de l'Amour' returns to the capital with a new, third edition just as beautiful and festive as the two previous ones.

Organized on the eve of the international day against LGBTQIA+ phobias, this year's'Bal de l'Amour' takes place on the Place de la Bastille on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 6pm. Festive, musical, free and open to all, the'Bal de l'Amour' 2025 is an opportunity for Parisians to"celebrate love, equality and LGBTQIA+ artistic and musical culture". Paris City Hall has announced that it will be awarding the International LGBTQIA+ Prize,"a major distinction that each year recognizes outstanding commitments to LGBTQIA+ rights around the world".

So, for this'Bal de l'Amour' 2025, the City of Paris announces an exclusive program celebrating"the contribution of LGBTQIA+ cultures through music, dance and performance, in a joyful atmosphere". So, on May 16, 2025, join us on Place de la Bastille from 6 p.m. for karaoke, a cabaret show, dance and singing performances, and several DJ sets!
