If you've never been to the Domaine départemental de Chamarande, you'll be delighted to know that it's the largest public garden inEssonne. With its historic heritage, this sumptuous estate is set in an exceptional green environment.
So how do you get to the festival site, located at N°39 rue du Commandant Arnoux in Chamarande? If you have a 2-day or day pass, there are several ways of getting to the RTL2 Essonne en scène Festival site in the 91 region (RER, bike, car...). However, the festival recommends using public transport.
If you're coming by public transport from Paris, take the RER C towards Saint-Martin d'Étampes, then get off at Chamarande station. The festival site is only 200 meters from the station.
As for timetables, don't panic, as the festival website indicates that the last RER C train from Paris (Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand) to Chamarande is scheduled for 8:34 pm on Friday, September 1, and 11:05 pm on Saturday, September 2.
For the return journey, festival-goers can count on two trains from Chamarande to Paris, departing at 00:48 and 01:07 on Friday and Saturday. These two trains will serve the Bouray station (where one of the parking lots is located), the Juvisy station, and finally the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand station in Paris.
If you're coming from Saint-Martin d'Étampes to Chamarande, note that the last train from this station leaves at 9.23pm on Fridays and 10.40pm on Saturdays. For your return to Saint-Martin d'Étampes, the last train out of Chamarande is scheduled for 21:17 on Fridays and 23:50 on Saturdays.
If you have no choice but to come by car, then you should know that the RTL2 Essonne en Scène Festival provides 5 parking lots for festival-goers, four of which are less than 5 km away. The closest to the site, just 1 km away, is the Stade car park.
The parking lot furthest from the festival entrance, the Bouray station parking lot, is 8 km away, but can be reached by RER. As for the ZA Étréchy parking lot (4.8 km), the festival runs shuttle buses to and from the site, available from 3 pm to 8:30 pm and again from 10:30 pm to 2 am. " If you arrive between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., you can take the RER C from Etréchy station to the Festival site (trains to Chamarande at 8:50 and 9:50 p.m.)," explains the festival.

To make it easier for festival-goers to arrive by car, the festival updates parking capacity in real time on the Waze navigation application.
If you live nearby and prefer to cycle, there will be a limited number of bike racks available at the Village, Fabrique and Chargenon entrances.
Finally, for pedestrians, the festival recommends that they use the Village and Fabrique entrances.
