For the occasion, the rue des Abbesses will also be the scene of an unusual concert, performed from a window. Behind this original event is Anne-Sophie Guerrier. A local figure and professional singer, Anne-Sophie Guerrier is the creator of the"Montmartre en chansons" tour, a unique concept that combines some thirty unusual locations, some twenty French songs performed a cappella by the artist, and numerous anecdotes relating to the singers and the history of the legendary Butte Montmartre.
OnSunday October 15, 2023, during the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre, Anne-Sophie Guerrier will be singing from a window in the rue des Abbesses, offering local residents and visitors to Montmartre an unusual and festive concert. The concert starts at 6 p.m. at N°51 rue des Abbesses. The singer will be accompanied by a number of guest artists, including Julien Nativel alias Natvel, Charly Solo and Antoine Wend.
This is not the first time that Anne-Sophie Guerrier has organized this unusual event from a window. The very first concert of this kind was held on June 21, 2020, in the middle of Covid-19, when street concerts were prohibited.
Building on its success, the experiment was repeated in 2021 for the Fête de la musique and then the Fête des Vendanges. The following year, a video taken from the window during the Fête de la Musique 2022 even made the rounds on social networks, racking up 3.8 million views!
Since then, this concert from a window on rue des Abbesses has been organized twice a year, bringing together several hundred people under the singer's windows.
