AC/DC: a pop-up store at Fnac in Paris to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary

A busy year for AC/DC! While Angus Young, Brian Johnson and others are preparing to hit the roads of Europe this summer, the legendary hard rock band is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! 50 decades marked by legendary albums, hits such as " Back In Black ", " Highway to Hell " and " It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll)", but also by tragedy with the death of Bon Scott in 1980 and the death of Malcolm Young in 2017.

To mark the 50th anniversary of AC/DC, Fnac has decided to pay tribute to the famous Australian-British band by opening pop-up stores dedicated to AC/DC in no less than five of its stores in France. In Paris, this pop-up store can be discovered at Fnac du Forum des Halles from Friday March 15 to Thursday April 4, 2024.

For around 3 weeks, fans of the band will be able to discover a series of exclusive products, including special and limited edition Fnac albums. In all, 9 AC/DC albums will be reissued in vinyl format, in " special 50th anniversary " gold versions. " Other waves will arrive at a later date to celebrate the rest of the discography " says Fnac in a press release published on March 7.

Other products offered by these pop-up stores dedicated to AC/DC? Two " Fnac collector " editions of the"Back in Black" and"Highway to Hell" albums.

In addition to album reissues, fans of the band will also be able to refresh their wardrobes thanks to the sale of brand-new AC/DC merchandise. These include t-shirts, sweaters, tote bags and caps. Figurines, pins, mugs and a puzzle depicting AC/DC's famous " Tour Truck " will also be available at Fnac du Forum des Halles from March 15 to April 4.

The band will be making a stopover in Paris this summer. As part of their European tour, AC/DC will take over theHippodrome de Paris-Longchamp on August 13 for a unique, sold-out concert!
