So, who is he? We tell you more about this artist, bookmakers' favorite and winner of this 68th edition of Eurovision thanks to his song "The Code".

Which contestant was the lucky winner of the 68thEurovision Song Contest? Who will succeed Loreen, the Swedish representative and last year's lucky winner? On May 11, 2024, fans of the Eurovision Song Contest followed this new edition, broadcast on France 2 from Malmö in Sweden, with passion for some and curiosity for others.

This year, 37 candidates were in the running, all determined to win. But only one of them had the honor of standing on the top step of the podium. Although many were hoping that Slimane would win this new edition with his song " Mon amour ", and thus give France a new crown after Marie Myriam's in 1977, it was Switzerland's Nemo who won the day. Nemo was one of the favorites to win the 68th Eurovision Song Contest. In the last few hours, bookmakers had placed him third in the contest.

Nemo - whose full name is Nemo Mettler - is 24 years old and has already released four EPs, the latest of which is entitled"Whatever Feels Right". In Switzerland, Nemo has already made a name for himself, winning four Swiss Music Awards in 2018, including Best Song of the Year for"Du" and Best Live Performance of the Year.

In 2021, the artist also took part in"The Masked Singer Switzerland", the Swiss adaptation of"The Masked Singer". The Eurovision website also tells us that Nemo has been playing violin, piano and drums since he was a child.

In 2024, Nemo took the next step in his career by representing Switzerland at Eurovision, winning the 68th edition with his song " The Code ". The song, written in English, mixes styles such as rap, drum and bass and opera. Beyond its catchy sounds, " The Code " is a personal track evoking the artist's growing awareness of her non-binary identity.

Nemo 's dynamic song, theatrical production and incredible vocals took him to the top of the podium, winning this latest edition of the Eurovision Song Contest! With Nemo's victory, Switzerland adds a third victory to its list of honors, following that of Lys Assia in 1956 and Céline Dion in 1988 with the song"Ne partez pas sans moi".
