Concerts by AIR, Phoenix, Étienne de Crécy, Inès Mélia and Benjamin Diamond on the roof of Terminal 1 atParis-Charles-de-Gaulle airport? This was the unusual musical experience not to be missed last summer in the Paris region. Inaugurated 50 years ago, Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport decided to go all out for the anniversary, transforming the roof of its Terminal 1 into an open-air concert hall, featuring the French Touch.
For this electro evening, simply entitled " Terminal 1 " , several big names had confirmed their attendance, including Air, the famous duo formed in 1995 and made up of Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin. Phœnix, the French pop-rock band from Versailles, was also there, as were Étienne de Crécy, Inès Mélia, Benjamin Diamond B2B Alan Braxe and Izzy Lindqwister. Some 2,000 electro music fans attended this unique concert, held on July 17, 2024.
This was not the first time that ADP Group had put music in the spotlight. In recent years, several artists have performed there, including Rone, who took over the Terminal 2E departure lounge in 2015. Metronomy, meanwhile, had travellers dancing in the baggage reclaim area. The adventure continued in 2024 with the " Terminal 1 " event, which took over the roof of the airport's first terminal for an evening dedicated to the French Touch.
A captured evening to be discovered for the first time on television this week. This Thursday, February 6, 2025, France 4 (channel 14) will broadcast this electro concert in prime time, featuring Air, Phoenix and Étienne de Crécy. Join us at 9pm to discover this musical event on TV.
Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle is considered France's largest airport and Europe's second busiest, according to figures for 2022. Terminal 1 was opened in 1974 to cope with the saturation of Orly airport, located to the south of the capital.
