Will Soprano "take a bow" by staging a grand 50th birthday concert at the Champ-de-Mars in Paris in 2029? That's what the rapper from Marseilles has in mind, as he talks to La Provence.

Soprano is getting ready to hit the road again in France for his " Freedom Tour ". What's on the agenda? Some fifty dates, including four concerts scheduled at theAccor Arena in Paris from December 11 to 14, 2025. Prior to this, Soprano will be criss-crossing France, stopping off in Tours, Pau, Orleans, Le Mans, Nantes, Caen, Toulouse, Lyon and, of course, his hometown of Marseille! In Marseille, the rapper will take over the Orange Vélodrome on October 11.

In the run-up to his new tour, due to kick off on March 8 in Épernay, Soprano gave an interview to La Provence. The artist talked about the new show he'll be presenting on this tour, as well as his upcoming projects.

On this subject, Soprano is thinking far, far ahead. In the columns of La Provence, the rapper spoke of his dream of ending his career on a high note by organizing a major concert on the Champ-de-Mars lawn in Paris in... 2029, for his 50th birthday. " Bigger than the stadium is the Champ de Mars, and it's got 'chant' and 'Mars' in it," said the singer, referring to his song"Mars". For the time being, this is just a wish from the Marseilles rapper. But if this concert at the Champ-de-Mars were to take place, then Soprano would like it to be free of charge, " a very strong social message ", he explained.

In the columns of La Provence, the artist also confided that he wanted to " retire" at the age of 50. " I'd like to create an event for my 50th birthday and bring back all the people who have listened to my music since the beginning, and call it a day," said the artist, who did however specify that he would continue to make music and produce artists.

So, will Soprano be singing at the Champ-de-Mars in Paris in 2029 for his 50th birthday? For the time being, the question remains open. The Champ-de-Mars regularly hosts concerts, such as the traditional symphony concert on July 14, and the Global Citizen Live event, held in 2021 and 2023.
