Over the coming weeks and months, a host of metal artists and bands are planning a stopover in Paris, to bring their powerful thrash metal, heavy metal, doom, black metal, sludge and power metal live. Many of them have chosen to take over major Parisian venues, including Volbeat, Turnstile and Bad Omens at the Zénith de La Villette, Gojira and Sabaton at theAccor Arena, and Till Lindemann, Deftones and Architects at theAdidas Arena.
If you prefer a smaller venue, where you can get up close and personal with your idols, you'll find that several bands will soon be setting up shop at La Maroquinerie, Backstage by The Mill, Trabendo, Machine du Moulin Rouge and Petit Bain.
Such is the case with Klone. The famous French progressive metal band, from Poitiers, awaits its fans on October 25, 2025 at Le Trabendo. As the icing on the cake, Klone will be accompanied by Vestige, the French modern metal band that seduced our ears in Clisson last June, at the 2025 edition of Hellfest.
The Trabendo venue, near La Villette, will also be opening its doors a few weeks later (December 10) to Sweden's Katatonia, accompanied for the occasion by their compatriots Evergrey and Italian-American band Klogr.
Another neighborhood, another venue and another metal concert, with Sakis Tolis from Rotting Christ taking over the small venue of Backstage by The Mill, formerly MCM Café in the 18th arrondissement, on September 4. The venue, located behind Blanche's O'Sullivans pub/restaurant, will also play host to Switzerland's Burning Witches and English doom and sludge outfit Conan. A stone's throw away, the Machine du Moulin Rouge awaits fans of Californian band Atreyu on October 6.
We can't forget the Belgians of Psychonaut at La Maroquinerie on November 7, the Brits of Urne also at La Maroquinerie, and the Americans of Between the Buried and Me at Petit Bain in 2026.
