A few days after the Fête de la Musique, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré will turn into an open-air stage for a few hours, thanks to a Norwegian brass band. Meet at Place Maurice Barrès from 4 p.m. for a free concert open to all, featuring 140 musicians aged 9 to 18 and 40 seasoned adults from one of Northern Europe’s most spectacular brass bands.
Under the baton of Marius Gjersø, three of Oslo's finest brass bands—Uranienborg, Kjelsås and Marienlyst—converge into a powerful ensemble that will treat passersby to 45 minutes of festive arrangements around tracks like Crazy in Love, Shake It Off or Can’t Hold Us, with a contagious energy that makes people dance and prolongs the musical joy of the summer solstice.
And to make the most of this Sunday’s Fête de la Musique in advance, don’t miss the capital’s best tips, especially if you’re into Scandinavian music, with the program at the Swedish Institute!
