Dance, theater, cinema, circus, family-friendly shows, and of course music... This summer, the Louvre Museum launches the third edition of its open-air, multidisciplinary festival, titled "Les Étés du Louvre". The event invites young and old to spend a month rediscovering the beauty of the Louvre’s courtyards and gardens—the largest museum in the world. From June 20 to July 25, 2026, a series of marquee moments will shape this rich, eclectic program, led by the Cinema Paradiso Louvre in the Cour Carré and the Paris L'été event in the Jardin des Tuileries.
Another highlight is set to unfold. It will, in fact, kick off this 2026 edition of the festival "Les Étés du Louvre". It’s a free concert by The Orchestre de Paris, staged under the famous and stunning Louvre Pyramid. Not to be missed on Saturday, June 20, 2026, the eve of the Fête de la musique, this concert will feature works by Ernest Chausson, Maurice Ravel, and Modest Mussorgsky.
For the occasion, conductor Bar Avni, winner of the international competition La Maestra 2024, will lead the Orchestre de Paris. Violinist Sarah Nemtanu will also be in attendance.
Scheduled for 10 p.m., this concert is free. But heads up: to secure a seat, you must book in advance (reservations opening soon). Our hunch is that tickets will go fast.
