The hip-hop of Northern Irish trio Kneecap is set to resound in Paris again this year. The group, whose appearance at Rock en Seine on August 24 sparked controversy, plans to take over two of the capital's venues in the near future for a total of four concerts. In detail, Kneecap will be performing at the Trianon on September 8 and 9, and at theÉlysée Montmartre on November 10 and 11, 2025. As for the opening of ticket sales, Kneecap is announcing a pre-sale accessible from 10 a.m. this Tuesday, August 26, via its WhatsApp channel. Otherwise, tickets will go on general sale on August 27 at 10am.
Unknown to most until recently, Kneecap are certainly the most talked-about band of the moment, more for their polemics and commitment to the Palestinian cause than for their music. However, Kneecap is first and foremost a hip-hop trio from Belfast, Northern Ireland, who are bursting with energy on stage. Comprising Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí, the respective stage names of Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, Naoise Ó Cairealláin and JJ Ó Dochartaigh, Kneecap sing in both English and Irish.
In 2017, they released their first single,"C.E.A.R.T.A.", followed a year later by their debut album,"3CAG". In 2024, they released the concept album"Fine Art", produced by Toddla T. A record that was accompanied by a BAFTA award-winning feature film, and shortlisted for an Oscar.
Playing to sold-out crowds in recent months at a number of venues, and programmed for numerous European and North American festivals, Kneecap plans to bring its songs to Paris live at four concerts, to be held on September 8 & 9 at Le Trianon and November 10 & 11, 2025 at L'Élysée Montmartre.
