If you're into British indie rock, you can't help but know Editors. For more than 20 years now, this Birmingham-born outfit has been filling our ears with nuggets like "Munich", "An End Has A Start", "Sugar", "A Ton of Love", or "Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors". In the coming months, Editors will be crisscrossing Europe on a new tour.
In France, three concerts have been announced. First up, in Roubaix on June 18, 2026. The British band will then return to France in 2027, kicking off with a show in Rouen on January 26, followed by a must-see date at La Cigale in Paris on Wednesday, January 27, 2027.
For fans of the band who can't wait to see them live again, get ready for the tickets on sale scheduled for Thursday, April 30 at 11 a.m.
The band, still steered by the warm, gravelly voice of Tom Smith, will use the moment to debut new material live, including the single “Call It In.” This marks their first new song since the studio album EBM dropped in 2022. “We spent a large part of summer 2025 holed up in the Gloucestershire countryside, writing songs together in one room, in a more traditional band setup. “Call It In” is among the newer tracks we’ve worked on. It’s about asking for help in the grip of existential anxiety, finding comfort in a loved one, and escaping the clamour of modern life,” explained frontman Tom Smith about the new track.
To catch this single live and revisit Editors' impressive discography, don’t miss their Paris show at La Cigale on January 27, 2027.
