It's a World Cup final set to captivate viewers around the world. This Sunday, July 19, 2026, Spain takes on Argentina at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. A host of top names are lined up to perform at halftime. From Madonna to BTS, with Shakira and Justin Bieber in the mix... here’s the musical lineup!

Soccer fans have a reason to smile! Since June 11, the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been delivering spectacular moments for sport enthusiasts. Co-hosted this year by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the tournament is set to conclude this Sunday, July 19.

Beyond the highly anticipated clash between Spain and Argentina, this 2026 World Cup final also aims to deliver a spectacular halftime show for fans and viewers around the world. And FIFA is going big with an XXL lineup.

Thus, big-name stars are lining up for the occasion, including American Madonna, the South Korean pop group BTS , and Colombian singer Shakira, who performed in early May before 2 million people in Rio de Janeiro! The artist also unveiled on May 14 the track Dai Dai. This song, performed with Nigerian artist Burna Boy, is the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Incidentally, Burna Boy has just joined the star-studded lineup and will also be at the MetLife Stadium for the halftime show. Justin Bieber is also announced, as is the renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 choir. Characters from the Muppet Show and Sesame Street will also take part. Finally, note that Chris Martin of Coldplay has been named artistic director of this grand spectacle.

"Madonna, Shakira and BTS are global icons whose music crosses borders and unites generations. We are proud to welcome them for the halftime show of the World Cup final, produced by Chris Martin of Coldplay," said Gianni Infantino, the President of FIFA, in a statement.

Other artists could join the lineup. The question now is how long this halftime show will last. As a reminder, a standard halftime clock runs 15 minutes. But several outlets, including The Athletic and L'Équipe, report that FIFA is weighing a longer halftime, potentially stretching the show to 20–30 minutes.

It’s worth noting that the World Cup 2026 final halftime show is aimed at raising funds for an education program run by FIFA in partnership with Global Citizen.

Music lovers curious to witness this grand spectacle should tune in on July 19 during halftime of the final. The event is expected to be broadcast on M6 and beIn Sports.
