Paris La Défense Arena features several entrances, with access points varying by your seat. In addition, “the color-coded access shown on your ticket (yellow, red or purple) helps you orient yourself, but it doesn’t represent a mandatory checkpoint at the security screening,” the venue explains, and it advises directing yourself straight to the entrances listed below:

On its website, Paris La Défense Arena has published the list of prohibited items for concerts, in line with “regulations governing public venues.” The ban covers “any dangerous or illegal item, bulky objects, items that could be used as projectiles and pose a risk to spectators, visitors, artists, or could be diverted from their intended use for malicious purposes,” such as containers and receptacles (including metal or glass bottles), accessories with studs, backpacks and travel bags, helmets, alcoholic beverages, non-retractable umbrellas, any rolling items, and cameras and video cameras without authorization.
By contrast, the following items are allowed for this concert: laptops and tablets up to 15 inches, retractable umbrellas, and crossbody bags. Because of the expected heat, the venue is also permitting fans (up to 50 cm), mini fans, and plastic or cardboard water bottles with a capacity under 50 cl. You can find all these details on the Paris La Défense Arena site.
After the show, it’s best to head to La Défense station (Line 1 / RER A) if you’re planning to head back to Paris.
For all other directions, head to the La Défense station to catch Transilien Line L. “If you are traveling by public transport toward Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Cergy and Poissy, you can go to Nanterre Préfecture station and take the RER A,” explains Paris La Défense Arena.
What a fantastic Foo Fighters show for everyone!
