Oasis are they finally making their highly anticipated live return in Paris? Since their 2009 split on French soil, the band's British fans have never lost faith. A cryptic video posted on the social networks has, in turn, reignited the speculation.

Behind him, the famous Rock en Seine poster, 2009 edition, is also visible. That summer, the band was due to perform at the Paris festival site. But the audience, unwittingly, witnessed Oasis’s breakup following a brutal backstage quarrel between the two brothers. “It is with some regret, but also immense relief, that I announce I have left Oasis tonight,” Noel said at the time in a statement. “People will write and say what they want, but I simply could not keep working with Liam another day,” the guitarist added.
In this video, other fans also spotted the plum the man eats before tossing it away. There’s no doubt the fruit is a nod to the plum-throwing that sparked the infamous backstage bust-up at Rock en Seine in 2009.
We should note that Oasis has been posting daily since September 3 a set of mysterious videos that appear to sketch the outline of a new European and British tour in 2027. Each clip drops major clues about the cities the tour will visit.
If Oasis confirms a Paris date soon, it would mark the Gallagher brothers' first major concerts in the capital since their feud in 2009.
Since the end of Oasis's reunion tour, Live ’25, rumors are swirling about new dates for 2027. According to The Sun, 23 shows are tipped to take place across the UK. But Oasis is also expected to stop in Germany, Italy, and France. While an official word from the Gallagher brothers remains pending, fans of the British band have a cinema date to look forward to: starting today, September 9, the documentary "Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger".
