There's plenty to do in Paris in March, including new exhibitions, trade fairs, races and unusual outings!
In March, the capital also plays host to a host of national and international artists. Fromrock, K-pop, metal and electro to rap, R&B, classical music, blues, jazz and French variety, all these artists have one thing in common: to make live music resonate, to make you vibrate!
There's no shortage of concert and performance venues in Paris and elsewhere in the Île-de-France region. There are, of course, large venues such as the Paris La Défense Arena. Located in the Hauts-de-Seine department, this is Europe's largest indoor venue. At the opposite end of the spectrum, to the west of Paris, we find theAccor Arena, a legendary venue that has already opened its doors to a host of prestigious artists. Other venues also feature live music. These include the Zénith de Paris,Olympia, Philharmonie, Salle Pleyel, Trianon, Folies Bergère, Grand Rex andÉlysée Montmartre.
And if you prefer more intimate venues, then head to La Maroquinerie, La Cigale, Le Trabendo, La Gaîté Lyrique, La Boule Noire or Petit Bain and Cabaret Sauvage.
In recent months, many artists and bands have taken over one of these venues. These include Linkin Park, Taylor Swift, Sum 41, Nick Cave, Lindsey Stirling, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, Beth Gibbons, PJ Harvey and Shaka Ponk.
