The Adventures of Tom Sawyer returns to the Théâtre Mogador

Tom Sawyer returns to the Théâtre Mogador from December 21, 2026, to January 31, 2027. Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal’s musical, based on Mark Twain’s novel, returns to the Paris stage for twenty performances, following the adventures of Tom and Huckleberry Finn on the banks of the Mississippi.

Little Tom Sawyer, a great symbol of freedom, was born in 1876 from the pen of the celebrated American author Mark Twain and has since been the subject of numerous adaptations. This musical version was conceived by Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, the same creative team behind "The Little Match Girl".

Alongside his sidekick Huckleberry Finn, our friend Tom Sawyer witnesses a scene that will change his destiny and send him off on a wild adventure: an enchanting tale full of beautiful costumes, sets and songs that delight audiences of all ages!

Our review of an earlier version of the show, in 2019: the photos and review below refer to that earlier revival.

A delightful show, beautifully performed, that stirs parents’ childhood memories while making young audiences’ eyes light up! Everything is there for a wonderful family outing: catchy tunes and moving performances, gorgeous costumes and incredibly lifelike sets! This musical captures all the charm of the cartoon we loved so much as children! A lovely way to share with our little ones some of the things that thrilled us at their age!

The 2026–2027 revival is directed by David Rozen, with choreography by Johan Nus. Pablo Cherrey-Iturralde plays Tom Sawyer and Roméo Gare plays Huckleberry Finn; Fantine Perrin and Léa Tauziès alternate in the role of Becky Thatcher. The show is recommended for ages 4 and up and runs for 1 hour and 50 minutes, including intermission.
