Hypnosis Investigation in Paris: An interactive show where the suspects are hiding in the audience

Keep an eye on your neighbors... Florian, aka Hypnetique, and Pierre, aka Funhypnose, present Enquête sous Hypnose on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 8 p.m. at the Centre Paris Anim’ Place des Fêtes, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Suitable for ages 12 and up, this interactive show combines a murder mystery with hypnosis acts: audience members are invited to help two detectives solve a crime.

The premise alone is enough to arouse suspicion: the crime was committed in the room, and the suspects are in the audience. According to the description published on the official Hypnetique website, participants may become witnesses, investigators, suspects or even victims. They must then piece together the key moments of the case. Onstage or from their seats, audience members help with the investigation in a retrofuturistic world.

To lead the investigation, Florian and Pierre play on their differences. The performers describe a double act in which the former makes sure the rules are followed, while his partner is more daring. This contrast gives their two characters a comic edge. The crime story thus provides a thread running through the hypnosis acts, leaving room for audience reactions and the unexpected.

Participation does warrant clarification, particularly for families: stage hypnosis is voluntary and is open to people aged 15 and over. Adolescents aged 12 to 14 can therefore attend the show without taking part as hypnotized volunteers.

For practical information, the show runs for 1 hour and 25 minutes, and tickets are available from €10.50, depending on the prices available. The performance takes place at 2-4, rue des Lilas, 75019 Paris, in the Place des Fêtes neighborhood.
