This year, the Suresnes Cités Dansehip-hop dance festival celebrates its 33rd anniversary! To mark the occasion, and as it has done for the past thirty years, the festival is taking up residence at the Théâtre Jean Vilar in Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine, for one month, from January 10 to February 9, 2025.
Created in 1993, this year's Suresnes Cités Danse festival presents almost 20 different dance performances. Among the choreographers presenting at Suresnes Cités Danse this year are Christophe West and Gaël Grzeskowiak, Christian and François Ben Aïm, Abou Lagraa and many others.
This not-to-be-missed event celebrates the hybridization of urban and contemporary dance, highlighting the richness and diversity of these artistic expressions. This year, the festival offers a series of varied shows reflecting the constant evolution of urban dance. It also features participatory events such as the Bal swing on January 19, and SCD Battle #3 on February 8, offering the public the chance to immerse themselves fully in the world of dance.
The shows will take place mainly at the Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar, located at 16, place Stalingrad in Suresnes. Prices vary according to the show, with discounts available for young people, large families and groups. We advise you to reserve your seats in advance, as some shows are very popular!
