This spring, it's carnival time at La Communale! For its first season, the food-court and its gourmet market are inviting Parisians to discover cultures from all over the world, through this colorful celebration, which exists in many versions depending on the country. First up, on March 23, 2024, withLatin America, featuring versions from Brazil, Bolivia, Uruguay, Chile and Colombia.
The program for what promises to be an exceptional evening includes a giant parade, introductory samba classes, a Baile funk DJ set and a batucada, all free of charge to make the party accessible to as many people as possible. Of course, you'll also be able to sample the specialities of these countries on site! On April 6, we're off to Europe, this time with the Drag Show, an improv and comedy stage, mime and puppet workshops, mask-making and a masquerade costume competition. Finally, on May 4, it's off to the West Indies and the Caribbean!
