Danse des cinq continents is a dance show to be seen at the Théâtre du Châtelet on June 21 and 22. The show highlights the culture of each continent through dance.

Danse des cinq continents is on the bill at the Théâtre du Chatelet as part of theCultural Olympiad programof art and sport. On June 21 and 22, you'll be able to enjoy dance performances from all five continents.

The show features traditional dance groups from the four corners of the globe, over the course of two evenings. On Friday and Saturday at 7pm, the Grande Salle and Place du Châtelet will welcome dancers for a free show for all ages. The show, directed by Karelle Prugnaud, is an opportunity to discover dances from all over the world that you won't see every day in Paris.

Presenting companies include Ikiyago Legacy, a troupe of dancers from Burundi; Batuc'Ados, representing Brazil; Navasart Armenian Ballet, transmitting the heritage of Armenian traditions; Paris Taïko Ensemble, a school of Taiko ( Japanese drumming); Poulido de Gèmo, a troupe from Provence; and Tahiti show, a professional troupe of Tahitian musicians and dancers.

Danse des cinq continents is a free show, to be staged at the Théâtre du Chatelet on June 21 and 22, 2024 .
