Zéphyr, created in 2021 by Mourad Merzouki, is on at 13ème Art until June 30. The contemporary dance show takes you on an odyssey between storms and tides, to coincide with the Vendée Globe 2021 race.
The dance show, imagined and choreographed by Mourad Merzouki, features ten professional dancers in a truly collective adventure. With their urban dance moves, the dancers should give shape to the invisible, in the middle of the sea, where a gentle wind of lightness blows, the Zephyr, wedged between the four walls of the 13th Art .
Recognized as a major figure in contemporary dance, Mourad Merzouki contributes to the development and popularization of hip-hop dance in France and abroad. Following the triumph of his latest show Pixel in 2021 and in 2022 at 13ème Art with his dance company Käfig, the choreographer opens the summer season with his creation Zéphyr . This will be followed by Boxe Boxe Brasil, also performed at 13ème Art from July 3 to 2024. A month-long residency for one of the world' s leading dance pioneers.
