After conquering social networks with her videos of characters as neurotic as they are endearing, Diane Segard takes things to the next level with Parades, her first solo show, presented at the Dôme de Paris on April 17 and 18, 2026. In it, she embodies a gallery of figures who all share the same characteristic: fear. Fear of not measuring up, fear of abandonment, fear of doing the wrong thing, fear of emptiness - in short, fear of living life to the full.
Rather than face stage fright alone, the comedian chooses to share it with her fictional doubles, each carrying a part of herself and her times. They are overwhelmed mothers, lonely adults and inner children who are always a little panicky. Through these multiple identities, she delivers a collective portrait of our ordinary anxieties, with humor tinged with tenderness, lucidity and self-mockery.
Parades is for anyone who recognizes themselves in these everyday doubts, who laughs at their own fragility or seeks a light-hearted way to talk about it. The show blends keen observation, a sense of rhythm and comic embodiment, in a generous, hybrid one-man show format.
