Instead of boring Sunday evenings, why not round off the week with a grand finale? For the most indefatigable Parisians and vacationers eager to make the most of every moment in the capital, a festive Sunday concept awaits you at Le Boeuf sur le Toit. This famous institution, known for its Art Deco setting and festive restaurant, invites you to experience an evening Emily in Paris-style.
Every Sunday, the French Cancan takes center stage! The show takes place in the Music Hall, with its intimate, fancy space dominated by a small stage. To attend, you'll need to opt for the €150 dinner and show package. From here, wherever you are, the configuration of the room makes it easy to see the show. The show features singers who then move from table to table, sometimes accompanied by dancers, as well as colorful French Cancan performances. The result is a joyous bedlam in a whirlwind of colorful petticoats, with impressive leg-throws and splits.
The alternative is to opt for the brasserie, with a €96 menu in the heart of an elegant gilded setting. You won't have a view of the French Cancan, but the singers and dancers will come to you. For dinner, forget the inventive plates, this is a place for comforting classics. A consensual offering featuring many of the sins of the Parisian brasserie. Starters include mayo egg, perfect egg, onion soup, snails and an excellent matured beef carpaccio. As for the main courses, we're sticking to our tried-and-true values, including rigatoni with truffles, beef bourguignon, shepherd's pie and cod. All in all, not a lot of risk-taking, but a fine execution. The menu is the same in both cases, what changes is the location.
After dinner and gossip, it's time for the DJ set! This is when the space opens up and everyone gathers at the Music Hall to dance the night away until 2am. It's a great opportunity to party in a setting worthy of a great movie. By the way, it's dress code here, so don't wear jeans!
