L'embarras du choix will return to the Gaité Montparnasse theater on March 20 , 2024 after a short break. The comedy, written in 2020 by writing duo Sébastien Azzopardi and Sacha Danino, had been nominated for the Molière for Best Comedy 2022.
L'embarras du choix tells the story of Max, who experiences an existential crisis on his 35th birthday. He needs advice, afraid of making the wrong choices. Who does the protagonist turn to? The audience! He's asking for your advice on a variety of subjects: love, work, friendship, family, etc. He's counting on you, and looking forward to hearing your suggestions.
As you can see, L'embarras du choix is an interactive play in which the audience decides what happens next. So each performance is different, depending on how the actors interact with the audience.
Following on from La Dame Blanche, Coup de Théâtre(s), Dernier coup de ciseaux and Mission Florimont, Sébastien Azzopardi and Sacha Danino have opted for interactive theater , featuring Margaux Maillet, Erwan Creignou, Patrice Latronche, Déborah Krey and Charlotte Bizjak , and finally Sébastien Azzopardi, who not only writes and directs the play, but also acts.
