The 36th edition of the Molières du théâtre takes place on Monday April 28, 2025 at the Folies Bergère, with Caroline Vigneaux as mistress of ceremony, for the second year running! Very happy to be hosting the ceremony once again, the former lawyer and comedian said she "felt very proud" to take part in the Molières, "because this profession welcomed her". The ceremony will be broadcast on France 2 television from 9pm.
This will now be the third time a female artist has been chosen to present the Molières, following Zabou Breitman in 2018. After performing her third one-woman show at the Grand Rex a few days ago, Caroline Vigneaux continues her In Vigneaux Veritas tour across France. With a complete career path ranging from actress to columnist to stand-up pro, the former lawyer had even been nominated for the 2019 Molières for her show Caroline Vigneaux croque la pomme. She was eligible this year, and makes no secret of her disappointment at not being among the nominees (spoiler alert), but is delighted to be mistress of ceremony! A daring choice on the part of the Académie des Molières, which never uses the same masters and mistresses of ceremony year after year.
