Here's their carefully curated list of must-see shows this winter, offering something for every taste

THE LOOP - THÉÂTRE SAINT-GEORGES Discover Robin Goupil's latest comedy (nominated twice at the 2025 Molières). It’s quite the scandal... Mayor Mitchel may not own a cat, but his son Mike is accused of murder. Despite being as clever as a bison, all evidence seems to point right at him. Represented by the crooked family lawyer, will he manage to escape the traps set by relentless detectives Douglas and Carrie, who are determined to see him fall? The Chaos Theory suggests that the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Sicily can trigger a hurricane in Kansas. The four characters will experience this firsthand, trapped in a swirling time loop that feels like a wild storm. Not the day to be messing with Arabica...

THE GENTLEMANLY BOURGEOIS- THÉÂTRE DU GYMNASE Monsieur Jourdain dreams big: he aspires to be a "gentleman." When a humble bourgeois strives to climb the social ladder and emulate the aristocracy, nothing goes smoothly — masks are revealed, intrigues unfold, tutors come and go, and miscommunications lead to hilarious misunderstandings... Turks make surprise appearances, marriages are arranged in chaos, vowels and consonants are fiercely contested in a dance of powdered wigs and flamboyant costumes. Learn more

NIGHT OF INTOXICATION - THÉÂTRE DE LA MADELEINE Jacques Belin (played by Philippe Lellouche), a charismatic host of a popular TV game show, finds himself alone in a bar at Gare Saint-Lazare. There, he meets Simone (Catherine Jacob), a woman fresh out of prison waiting for her train. They couldn't be more different. Yet, that night, they share an unforgettable evening—wild, turbulent, and surprisingly touching. This highly anticipated revival of Josiane Balasko’s iconic play sees Catherine Jacob giving a fresh take on Simone. Learn more

MADE IN FRANCE - THÉÂTRE DE LA RENAISSANCE After all the time spent waiting behind bars, Emile has finally been granted a sentence with early release. Starting tomorrow, he’ll spend his days working in a factory and his nights in detention—hope for a quick parole gaining good behavior. But here’s the catch: the factory he’s about to join is relocating abroad. Emile has no choice but to step up as the best union leader, fighting to save the factory, his colleagues, and maybe even the country. Learn more

ALL THE FAMILY I LOVE - THÉÂTRE DES VARIÉTÉS Meet this family... and you might just fall in love with your own! A brother and sister, whose father has always been a Johnny Hallyday fan, are convinced that their dad will disinherit them to follow in his idol's footsteps. So they decide to act first and do everything they can to claim his fortune... while he's still alive. This story reminds us that family truly is the most precious treasure... Learn more

ONE HOUR TO WAIT FOR YOU - THÉÂTRE DE PARIS / SALLE RÉJANE One hour. Three characters. Two presences. One absence. In a penthouse apartment, cut off from the world, two men share the space, size each other up, challenge one another. She isn't here, not yet. Yet, everything about her echoes throughout the room: her scent in the air, her name on their lips, her memory reflected in their gazes. Time warps into tension, and love begins to distort. One hour to wait for her... But she’s not the one missing. It's them behind the door. This play explores the nature of waiting, perceptions of the other, and what love reveals about ourselves when filtered through rivalry. An intimate, tense chamber piece where emotion sneaks through every crack. A face-to-face... in three dimensions. Learn more

A TRIAL THAT CHANGED A LIFE - THÉÂTRE DU SPLENDID Summer 1971, Marie-Claire, only 16, finds herself pregnant. Though abortion was illegal and punishable by law, she makes it clear she doesn't want to keep the baby. Her mother, first Michèle, then Lucette, Renée, and Micheline, rally around her to offer support. But the clandestine abortion goes tragically wrong… Fast forward to autumn 1972. All the women involved are charged. A certain lawyer, Maître Gisèle Halimi, takes charge of their case — the infamous Bobigny trial. Their bravery helped shape history and sparked a social revolution. Learn more

IN THE HALLWAY - THÉÂTRE HÉBERTOT This is the story of an octogenarian couple. He, suffering from chronic back pain and severe visual impairment, is played by Jean-Pierre Darroussin. She, equipped with a hearing aid and dental prosthesis, is Christine Murillo. Their lives aren't easy—especially since their fifty-something son has moved back home. His return irritates them. Who knows where kindness, listening, or rejection might hide, especially since the son stubbornly refuses to speak to them. Fun times! "In the Hallway" feels a bit like a waiting game between "Waiting for Godot" and "The Chairs." Who will come out on top: laughter or tears? Find out more

NEVER HAD ANYTHING HAPPEN TO ME - THÉÂTRE DE L'ATELIER Who was Jean-Luc Lagarce really? Vincent Dedienne delves into the notebooks of one of the greatest playwrights of the 20th century. Over the years, his journal paints an intimate portrait of a young man both witty and terrifying. It’s the story of a solitary, emotional life spanning Paris and Besançon in the 1980s—a passionate theatre enthusiast witnessing the emergence of AIDS, the deaths of Coluche and Simone Signoret. A remarkable life, both grand and modest at once. Learn more

LES DEMOISELLES DE ROCHEFORT - THÉÂTRE DU LIDO We are two twin sisters... Everyone remembers the charming Ladies of Rochefort, singing and dancing amid pastel scenery as they wait for their true love.
