Lanvin exhibition at Carita Beauty House, the sublime free haute-couture exhibition

The brand new and sublime Maison de Beauté Carita in Paris, hostsuntil March 24, 2023, an exhibition of haute-couture dedicated to the house of Lanvin. This installation-event celebrates the friendship between the Carita sisters and the famous fashion house, in a place full of magic and refinement.

This exhibition traces the history of the meeting between the two houses in the 1950s in Paris. At that time, Carita was known for its expertise in hair and beauty, while Lanvin was a reference in haute-couture. The collaboration between the two houses was obvious, and a "haute-coiffure" fashion show was improvised in 1952. The creations are elegant and the volumes are supple, while the hairstyles are inventive. This collaboration sealed the friendship between the Carita sisters and the Lanvin fashion house.

The exhibition is conceived as an ode to femininity, where we discover the most beautiful dresses of the house Lanvin. The installation is particularly elegant, and movement is at the heart of the staging. Discreet fans are installed under the creations to emphasize their delicacy and nonchalant elegance.

The mannequins, gracefully arranged in the alcoves, have a face as if calligraphed, and seem to evoke the time when the Carita sisters and the house of Lanvin reigned as absolute masters of the high-end universe of the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

Upon arrival, a guide takes you on a tour of the exhibition, which presents a range of 11 dresses, "charmers" from different collections from 2020 to 2023. Upstairs, at the new confidential Café-restaurant named Rosy et Maria, handbags with emblematic hanses are also to be discovered.

The Lanvin exhibition at the Carita Beauty House is a unique opportunity to discover the most beautiful creations of the fashion house. This event-installation, both magical and refined, pays tribute to an unbreakable friendship.
